Aspera has been confirmed as Platinum sponsor at the TVBEurope 2020 event, which debuts this year as part of the new TVBEurope Strategy Week, beginning Monday 29 June.

Aspera’s mission is to create the next-generation software technologies that move the world’s digital content at maximum speed, regardless of file size, transfer distance and network conditions.

TVBEurope 2020 is the brand new one-day conference from TVBEurope that straddles the connected worlds of UHD, IT and IP infrastructures to identify a tangible strategic roadmap for the business landscape in the run up to 2020, and beyond. The conference forms the centrepiece of TVBEurope Strategy Week, a new initiative that spreads our forums of discussion over a number of days in the form of roundtables, webinars, and the one-day conference, which takes place at BAFTA, on London’s Piccadilly on Tuesday 30 June.

The event will feature carefully planned sessions to offer detailed insights and instruction on UHD and IT infrastructures and their future deployment. The risks and rewards of IP for broadcast media entities including CAPEX to OPEX, and whether UHD will be responsible for the death of SDI, will also be explored. Finally, the day will offer an opportunity to examine and discuss the wider impact of new technologies, looking into the future connected world, examining the wider impact of new tech and UHD on the production workflow, and how companies can remain competitive and profitable as the market evolves.

Visitors to the event will be able to meet with representatives from Aspera in the conference’s dedicated exhibition area. With approximately 2,000 customers and over 16,000 active software licenses being used worldwide, Aspera serves all industries that need to move large volumes of data over wide area networks in practical timeframes. A pioneer in the enablement of high-speed, data-intensive workflows throughout the enterprise, Aspera has unlocked the cloud for big data with high-performance digital transport.

Major film studios, post production companies, visual effects houses and sports and news broadcasters rely on Aspera software to reduce their production cycles while securely delivering high-resolution media worldwide, to provide consumers with their best content, faster and more efficiently.

Further programme information, as well as registration and ticket details, will be released in the coming weeks. For sponsorship opportunities contact Ben Ewles, bewles@nbmedia.com; Richard Carr, rcarr@nbmedia.com; or Steve Connolly sconnolly@nbmedi.com
