Tom Evans to lead SDVI in EMEA

Will support company's growing presence in Europe

Media supply chain management company SDVI has appointed Tom Evans as general manager of its EMEA business.

According to the company, the newly created role reflects the increase in demand for Cloud-based supply chains in EMEA and is part of its long-term initiative to support significant industry transformation and growth across the region.

Evans has previously worked for the likes of A+E Networks, the BBC, BT, Cognizant, Disney, NBCUniversal, Sky and Telstra.

“Over the past two decades, Tom has helped some of the media industry’s biggest names —nationals and multinationals throughout Europe, Australasia, and the US — to embrace new technologies and business models that drive greater efficiency and profitability,” said SDVI CEO Lawrence Kaplan. “Tom is highly adept at finding unique solutions to complex operational and technology problems — experience that makes him a great fit for SDVI, particularly as we step up our commitment throughout Europe.”

“Recent and ongoing SDVI Rally deployments in EMEA demonstrate a readiness and an appetite for media supply chain modernisation,” added Evans. “It’s an exciting time to be bringing next-generation media supply chain management to the region, and the Rally platform addresses the many challenges and opportunities facing EMEA media organisations in today’s competitive marketplace.”
