Steve Penney has been appointed director of strategic technology and innovation by software-defined storage and data management solution provider, pixitmedia.
Penney has previously worked for Viacom and Red Bee Media.
According to pixitmedia, he has “an extensive and holistic understanding of media system architecture” having led the delivery of multi-petabyte archive migration projects and multi-site, multi-cloud business transformation projects.
In his new role based in the London headquarters, Penney will lead the team in software development, delivery and customer-driven development.
