SonoVTS has announced Detlef Sold will join the company as managing director on 1st January.
He has previously worked for RTL as head of production, and recently led tpc in Switzerland as CEO.
Current MDs Stephan Krömer and Franz Olbert will both step down from their positions. Krömer will continue to work for the company; Olbert is leaving SonoVTS Media GmbH, but will remain as an external consultant.
“We are pleased to be able to recruit such a distinguished and experienced leader from the broadcast industry for the new SonoVTS Media GmbH and are convinced that after the largely completed restructuring, we have set another milestone for the long-term and successful positioning of SonoVTS Media,” said the company in a statement.
