Phabrix has returned as a Silver Partner for the second annual TVBEurope 2020 conference, held at BAFTA in London on 28 June.
TVBEurope 2020 is a one-day strategy summit that brings together broadcasters, content owners, service providers and manufacturers with the common goal of identifying the business-critical decisions that companies will have to make to remain relevant and profitable in a fully IP-enabled future.
This year’s conference programme is the most forward looking TVBEurope agenda to date, addressing the future role of broadcasters in an IP-enabled world, the value and effectiveness of common standards across the convergent IP and UHD ecosystems, and the impact of market forces on long-term business strategy.
Phabrix will be displaying ‘state of the art’ technology in support of the discussions surrounding UHDTV and IP infrastructures currently heading the agenda. Founder Phil Adams, along with R&D head of engineering Mark Elliott, will be in attendance to demonstrate the new UHDTV technology.
At NAB 2016, Phabrix began shipping a new product for UHDTV and IP testing – the Qx. Designed as a true ‘hybrid’ solution for both broadcaster and manufacturers alike, the Qx offers SDI and IP interfaces controlled by a flexible user interface.
The Qx supports unique technology among which is RTE – a Real-Time Eye and jitter testing toolset offering complete compliance verification of the new 4K and 8K standards. With both an on-board generator and analysis toolset, the Qx bridges the new technologies of 12 Gbps and IP formats, designed to provide a comprehensive testing environment.
