Mick Bass joins Presteigne Broadcast

Bass has over 30 years of experience in the TV industry overseeing the delivery of live sporting and cultural events for broadcasters across the globe

Mick Bass, former commercial director at NEP UK, will join Presteigne Broadcast as its new commercial director – project solutions from 1st December.

According to the company, Bass’s appointment cements its ambitious plans for future growth in terms of reality TV in particular.

Bass has over 30 years of experience in the TV industry overseeing the delivery of live sporting and cultural events for broadcasters across the globe. He has worked on the first four series of Love Island as well as Big Brother, and documentaries such as 24 Hours in Police Custody.

Commenting on the appointment, Adrian Young, CEO of Presteigne said Mick makes ideas come to life. He will be working with Simon Atkinson to develop our projects business – across the full range of our client base but also drawing on his knowledge of reality TV. From the original rough idea to transmission, Mick’s experience and attention to detail is unparalleled.  Mick is well known in the industry for good reason and we’re absolutely delighted that he’s agreed to join us and spearhead our vision for our increasingly important end-to-end turnkey solutions.”
