Following the cancellation of the AV and Broadcast Summit due to the red heat alert in June, TVBEurope is delighted to announce the event will now take place online.
The free event, which is being held in conjunction with our sister title Installation, will now be held during the afternoon of Wednesday 2nd September, starting at 1.30pm BST.
The Summit aims to provide a unique, neutral opportunity for practical learning at the intersection of the broadcast and AV industries.
“Having seen the response from the industry to our in-person event, I’m delighted that TVBEurope’s global audience will now be able to join the Summit,” said Jenny Priestley, content director.
“We believe this event offers a unique opportunity for the broadcast industry to learn from their AV counterparts. We hope everyone in the audience will leave with new ideas and perhaps a different perspective on the journeys of AV and broadcast.”
The event includes panels exploring where we are in the convergence between the two industries; how production technologies are moving beyond broadcast; IP, cloud and the infrastructure behind converged media; how virtual production is moving beyond broadcast; and the impact of AI on rethinking media workflows.
Registration for the AV and Broadcast Summit is now open. Register for free here.
