Pinewood Group has announced the appointment of Farrah Charles as the new general manager of Shepperton Studios.
Charles returns to Pinewood, where she began her career more than two decades ago. Her experience spans studio operations, client services and major facility transformations for a range of major studios, including BBC Studioworks, Warner Bros Studios Leavesden and Garden Studios.
Commenting on the appointment, Charles said, “Returning to Pinewood Group in many ways feels like coming home. I couldn’t be more excited to be entrusted to oversee the globally renowned and iconic Shepperton Studios. Especially in its 95th year of operation!
“I’m looking forward to working with the fantastic team and productions onsite, and cannot wait to build upon Shepperton’s already outstanding reputation for delivering world-class facilities, services and customer experience.”
Working across a variety of roles within the industry, Charles has supported productions for numerous broadcasters, streamers and production houses such as Amazon MGM Studios, Amazon Prime Video, ABC Signature & Hulu, Apple TV, BBC, ITV and Netflix.
