Mediaset and Vivendi are reportedly still gridlocked over negotiations on the day of the deadline set by the Milan court.
The three-year legal battle concerns Mediaset’s plans to create a pan-European TV company called MediaForEurope (MFE).
The Mediaset board has called a new meeting according to sources close to the matter, who said: “They’re still not there.”
One of the sources told Reuters the Mediaset board could give a conditional green light to a deal subject to conditions on Friday.
