Media and collection management solutions company TransMedia Dynamics (TMD) has been acquired by Lumine Group, a division of Volaris Group, which is focused on the communications and media market.
TMD will remain as an autonomous operation under Lumine, but will be able to leverage its new owner’s experience, best practices, and financial resources to strengthen the business in should it wish to complete M&A activity of its own.
Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
Founded in 1998, TMD’s product suite includes Mediaflex-UMS, Paragon for Archives, and Coeus Intelligent Media Archiving which all enable organisations to acquire, manage and deliver many hundreds of Terabytes of content. According to the company, it can annually automate upwards of 50 million tasks for many of its media supply chain management customers.
