IABM has joined this year’s TVBEurope 2020 event as the official conference partner. The agreement will see IABM director of technology and strategic insight, John Ive, reprise his role as chairman of the day’s agenda.
“Following a successful partnership in 2015, I’m delighted to confirm that IABM will be our official conference partner for this year’s TVBEurope 2020 conference,” explained James McKeown, content director at NewBay Media and editor-in-chief of TVBEurope.
“Leaning on the extensive experience and knowledge of IABM’s John Ive, our conference chairman, has been vital in assembling a coherent and insightful agenda that will be the most forward looking programme we’ve ever put together.”
The conference programme has been designed to offer strategic insight for all companies planning their short, medium, and long-term business models, with focused sessions on the future of broadcasters in an IP world, the role and purpose of industry standards, and working examples of Live IP production.
“IABM supported the first TVB Europe 2020 last year and it proved to be an excellent forum for gaining a real understanding of where our industry is heading,” said Peter White, IABM CEO.

IABM will be hosting a series of events at NAB in Las Vegas, including its State of the Industry Conference on Monday 18 April at 8am in room N235/237 of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
