IABM announces North American Council

IABM has announced the appointment of its North American regional council

IABM has announced the appointment of its North American regional council.

Lead by Tom Lattie, vice president of market management and development and videoproducts at Harmonic, the council joins its UK and APAC counterparts to promote local issues in the broadcast and media technology industry.

The council’s aim is to provide advocacy for members in the region by promoting best practice, as well as highlighting key issues to members, providing a forum for discussion and debate, and strengthening IABM’s presence in North America.

“The IABM is an important advocate for our industry, supporting vendors of all sizes across the globe,” said Tom Lattie. “I am excited to be part of this increased focus on serving the specific needs of the North American members.”

The North American Council has a cross section of member companies ranging by size, products and geographic location. Each council member will provide feedback on initiatives and new offerings and attempt to further expand the association’s global reach.

The council is made up of nine senior executives from IABM member companies; Michael Accardi, president of CueScript; Margaret Craig, CEO at Signiant; Brian Cram, CEO at Dejero; Ted Korte, COO at Q’ligent; Adam Schadle, vice president at Video Clarity; Chris Shaw, vice president of sales at Linear Acoustic; Thomas Tang, president of Apantac; John Tkaczewski, president of FileCatalyst, and Eli Warsawski, president and CEO of Volicon.

The next North American Regional Council meeting is scheduled for January 26, 2016.
