Sky Italia has announced Gabriella Vacca as its new chief technology officer.
She will take up her new role on 24th August, reporting to Mohamed Hammady, Sky Group’s CTO.
Vacca joins Sky after 10 years at the broadcaster’s owner Comcast, where she held the position of vice president of enterprise technology solutions, having previously worked at ESPN Mobile, Disney and AT&T, among other companies.
“I am sure [Gabriella’s] ability to devise technological solutions that create value will help us to be even more competitive and innovative in our business, where new ideas and versatility are now essential,” said Sky Italia CEO Maximo Ibarra.
