Freesat has appointed David Thomas as its new head of product.
Thomas joins Freesat from fintech start-up Novastone Media, where he was also head of product, responsible for the development of a web, iOS and Android app, along with integrations with external public IM channels such as WhatsApp and WeChat.
He has also held positions at Endemol, Atlas Mobile, Sky and Cellcast, where he was responsible for the successful promotion of interactive services, ensuring that the company’s service offering was constantly developed across the range of brands and programmes.
