Fourth EBU Executive Board elected

The EBU General Assembly has elected nine members to the Executive Board for a two-year mandate starting from 1 January 2013.

The EBU General Assembly has elected nine members to the Executive Board for a two-year mandate starting from 1 January 2013.

The vote took place on the second and final day of the Winter Assembly, which was attended by more than 150 senior public service media executives representing 40 countries.

The General Assembly is the highest decision-making body within the EBU and meets twice annually.

The board will continue to be led by Jean-Paul Philippot (pictured right), RTBF (Belgium), and Claudio Cappon (pictured left), RAI, (Italy) who were re-elected at the Summer General Assembly in Strasbourg to the posts of president and vice-president respectively for 2013–2014.

The management of the EBU is the responsibility of Director General Ingrid Deltenre (pictured).
