EVS confirmed as Gold sponsor at TVBEurope 2020

The first ever TVBEurope 2020 conference now has a second confirmed Gold sponsor, EVS.

The first ever TVBEurope 2020 conference now has a second confirmed Gold sponsor, EVS. The company spans entertainment, sports, news and media, and its broadcast and media production systems are used by broadcasters, production companies, post production facilities, film studios, content owners and archive libraries around the globe.

The brand new one-day conference straddles the connected worlds of UHD and IT infrastructures and will examine the strategic challenges companies face as they develop their roadmaps in the run up to 2020, and will form the focal point of the first TVBEurope Stragey Week, beginning Monday 15 June.

“Broadcast 2020 forms the centrepiece of TVBEurope Strategy Week, a new initiative that spreads our forums of discussion over a number of days in the form of roundtables, webinars, and the conference itself,” explained James McKeown, TVBEurope’s executive editor.

The one-day conference will take place at BAFTA, on London’s Piccadilly, on 30 June. The day’s agenda is being carefully planned to deliver detailed insights and instruction on UHD and IT infrastructures and their future deployment, the risks and rewards of IP for broadcast media entities including CAPEX to OPEX, and whether UHD will be responsible for the death of SDI. There will also be an exploration of the future connected world examining the wider impact of new technologies and UHD on the production workflow, and how companies can remain competitive and profitable as the market evolves.

EVS’ integrated tapeless solutions, based around its XT server range, are widely used to deliver live productions. Today, it continues to develop practical innovations, such as its C-Cast second screen delivery platform, to help customers maximise the value of their media content.

The company is headquartered in Belgium and has offices in Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and North and Latin America. Approximately 500 EVS professionals from 20 offices are selling its branded products in over 100 countries, and provide customer support globally.

Further programme information, as well as registration and ticket details, will be released in the coming weeks. For sponsorship opportunities contact Ben Ewles, [email protected]; Richard Carr, [email protected]; or Steve Connolly [email protected].
