ES Broadcast has evolved its UK system integrator division into a consultancy-first approach to reflect the changing trends within the broadcast industry.
Speaking exclusively to TVBEurope, group chief executive officer Edward Saunders said the decision reflects market shifts in Europe over the last two years and the company has “actioned changes to follow those trends”.
“From a UK perspective, we continue to support our existing clients with the delivery of any projects that are booked, and we are working collaboratively with new and old clients alike on any future projects and their delivery,” he added.
The move to consultancy means that some of ES Broadcast’s SI team have left the company, with Saunders stating the changes had “no reflection on the ability or attitude” of those members of staff.
The new consultancy already has “multiple engagements” in the UK and globally, revealed Saunders, adding that it will be led by ES Media Group’s chief commercial officer, Brian Clark.
As part of the move to changing to a consultancy, ES Broadcast sees opportunities in additional markets outside of traditional broadcast: “In addition to our streaming partners and traditional broadcasters, we’ve now got a hyper focus on corporate blue-chip clients.
“We’re seeing a trend that allows us to bring broadcast technologies and innovation into the professional AV market. Some of the clients that we’re engaging with are banks or institutions.”
