Dan Goman has stepped down as chief executive officer of Ateliere Creative Technologies, sources have confirmed to TVBEurope.

The news follows the company’s decision to drop its planned acquisition of CodeMill, as we reported yesterday.
In a letter to investors, seen by TVBEurope, the company said Goman took the decision following “recent press coverage and its potential impact on Ateliere’s brand and continued momentum”.
David Bortis will take over as interim CEO, said the company, working alongside a new board of directors.
“This transition reinforces Ateliere’s ongoing commitment to its mission: empowering the media and entertainment industry through innovative, efficient, and collaborative solutions,” said the letter to investors. “Our focus remains steady and unchanged as we look forward to delivering continued value to our investors, customers, and partners,” it added.
Goman founded Ateliere (previously known as Ownzones) in 2009.
Ateliere confirmed the change in a statement released late yesterday. Commenting on the transition, Goman said, “I take immense pride in the company we’ve built from scratch and the groundbreaking technology Ateliere has delivered. By addressing critical industry challenges, especially sustainability and ROI, Ateliere is paving the way for the future of media technology. With an incredibly talented leadership team at the helm, I’m confident the company will continue to drive further innovation, growth, and success in the years to come.”
Bortis added: “I’m honoured to work alongside Ateliere’s extraordinary leadership team as we shape the company’s next chapter together. By focusing closely on our customers’ needs, we’re creating a future with meaningful and lasting impact. We will continue to provide the innovative and sustainable M&E solutions that our customers have come to expect.”
