Christina Sulebakk named HBO Europe chief

Succeeds Herve Payan who is leaving the company at the end of August

WarnerMedia has announced the appointment of Christina Sulebakk as the new general manager of HBO Europe.

She replaces Herve Payan who is leaving the company at the end of August. He has been in the role for the past eight years.

Sulebakk will report into Priya Dogra, president, WarnerMedia Entertainment Networks, EMEA and APAC.

She has worked at HBO Europe for over eight years, most recently serving as EVP, CMO and head of distribution. Sulebakk was involved in transforming the Central European business into streaming and launching HBO España.
