Apple has confirmed its first foray into original television programming will debut on 8th August.
Carpool Karaoke: The Series will be the first original series released on the Apple Music app on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV.
The Apple version is based on the segment from James Corden’s The Late Late Show and will feature Corden in two episodes. He also serves as one of the show’s producers alongside Ben Winston from Fulwell 73.
Each new instalment of the 16-episode run will be released every Tuesday.
The series will feature a unique pairing of celebrities in each episode, including John Legend, Alicia Keys, Will Smith, Miley Cyrus, Shaquille O’Neal and Game of Thrones stars Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams.
