Amazon Web Services could be worth $1 trillion on its own by 2024 according to new figures from analysts MKM Partners. The current value of Amazon as a whole is $929 billion.
It suggests AWS could represent almost 32 per cent of Amazon’s $88 billion in profit by 2025.
Analyst Rob Sanderson is projecting a 35 per cent operating margin in 2024 for Amazon’s cloud business.
Sanderson is suggesting the whole of Amazon could be worth $2.5 trillion by 2024. It is currently valued at $929 billion
