Amagi to acquire Tellyo’s business

In bringing together Tellyo’s product development centre in Poland and its own technology centres in India and Croatia, Amagi said it expects to drive cloud innovation in Europe in an accelerated manner.

Amagi has announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the business of real-time live cloud remote production company Tellyo,

According to Amagi, the acquisition will boost its video toolset for live sports and news broadcasts, and improve live video streaming and editing experience for customers worldwide.

The deal also sees Amagi further expand its footprint in Europe. In bringing together Tellyo’s product development centre in Poland and Amagi’s technology centres in India and Croatia, the company said it expects to drive cloud innovation in the region in an accelerated manner.

Speaking about the deal, Amagi’s co-founder & CEO Baskar Subramanian, said “We are excited about the opportunities this acquisition presents for Amagi.
