Andy Livingston appointed co-chair of DTG’s Next-Generation Media Working Group

Joining the DTG's Next-Generation Media Working Group alongside existing co-chair Andy Lucas, Andy Livingston will help lead work to drive progress across future media formats and viewing experiences

The Digital TV Group has announced the appointment of a new co-chair of its Next Generation Media Working Group.

The DTG’s Next-Generation Media Working Group aims to address emerging formats, advanced codecs and advances in audio and video to ensure seamless delivery of high quality viewing experiences.

Andy Livingston, director, technology EMEA at Sony Pictures Entertainment has been appointed co-chair of the Working Group, working alongside the existing co-chair, NBCUniversal’s SVP of global distribution technology, Andy Lucas.
