Canal Digital customers in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland can watch TV shows and movies on their iPad with the recently-launched Canal Digital GO iPad app, designed, developed and powered by Xstream.
The GO iPad app provides Canal Digital’s customers with a library of premium TV series and movies in addition to live TV and catch up. The app comes with extra features such as sorting and recommendation based on viewing history.

Key features in the Canal Digital GO iPad app powered by Xstream MediaMaker include authentication support, enabling Canal Digital to deliver long-form movie and TV series in addition to live TV and catch up services; EPG, powered by Meetv.no; encrypted with Microsoft PlayReady DRM; and integration with Canal Digital’s in-house customer billing system and database.
