Building on a 20-year legacy of designing and manufacturing control products, Hi Tech will be showing the new Array system of configurable control panels.

This unique system is designed to allow customers to ‘build’ a control surface that reflects their workflow requirements involving multiple pieces of equipment in the production and content delivery environment.

The system comprises a number of control panels with a range of housings – up to four can be joined to form a control surface. They are connected electrically using a databus for communications and power, and one Array panel has an interface for power and comms in and out of the surface. This interface can be a fully specified integrated PC or a general purpose network and power module.

Hi Tech or third party software applications can be integrated either by direct installation into the (optional) on-board PC or via the Array protocol.

Avita, Hi Tech’s production control software, can be used to control a number of third party devices such as video servers, routers, CGs, multiviewers and switchers. This flexible software package can be integrated into the Array system using the built-in PC, or Array can be a remote control system to Avita, installed on a separate computer.
