Adobe, Ross Video withdraw from NAB

Latest withdrawls due to coronavirus fears

Adobe and Ross Video have both announced they will not be attending NAB next month due to concerns over coronavirus.

In a statement, Ross Video said it regretted to announce it was withdrawing from the show, having attended every NAB since 1974.

“I’m disappointed for both our customers and our staff”, said CEO David Ross. “However, the coronavirus is obviously the dominant issue and we have to do the right thing. We are developing contingency plans and will be virtualising many elements of the show to ensure that our customers still learn about everything new from Ross”.

Adobe also confirmed it will not be attending the show, due to take place 18th-22nd April, saying it had been “closely monitoring and evaluating the situation around COVID-19” and has made “the difficult but important decision to cancel our presence at the show this year.”
