The streaming of Sky Bet Championship, League 1, League 2 and Play-Off matches will now be supported by Simplestream, provider of multi-platform live streaming and catch-up TV services.
Simplestream’s low latency technology and proprietary Media Manager Events Module were selected by Sky Bet to deliver the month-long trial to UK fans. The Football League Play-Offs began this week and the technology will be used to cover all 15 matches. Sky Bet customers will be able to watch live all the coverage from the tournament, across all matches, on the Sky Sports television and digital platforms.
