HuffPost UK is the latest platform to launch its own video content with the announcement of a new docu-reality series from the creators of Made in Chelsea.
The New Activists launches on the site today from 4pm UK time. The show has been made in collaboration with Monkey, the BAFTA-winning creators of the E4 show.
The docu-reality series features young activists challenging the status quo, with each episode sub five-minute episode being released over a ten week run.
HuffPost UK said The New Activists follows the activists' "extraordinary lives as they campaign for causes close to their hearts; from anti-bullying and body positivity, to trans and disability rights."
Among the people the show will follow are Munroe Bergof, the first transgender woman to appear in a L'Oréal Paris campaign in the UK, teenage body positivity activist Sonny Turner, and award-winning anti-bullying campaigner Liam Hackett.
David Granger, executive producer at Monkey said: “Taking content into a whole new arena, we are set to produce a fast-paced, hard-hitting docu-reality series that provides a real insight into the opinion formers and human rights champions of today.”
