Disney Plus launches in the Netherlands

Free trial run is available on select mobile and connected TV devices

Disney’s new streaming service has launched in the Netherlands has gone live with a free trial run.

The company is testing Disney Plus in the country, but without the content that is expected on the platform at its official launch on 12th November.

The Disney Plus trial is available on a selection of mobile and connected TV devices, including games consoles, media players, and smart TVs. Disney said more will be added ahead of the full launch in November. It will be priced at €6.99 per month locally, or €69.99 for a year-long subscription.

So far, Dutch users have been able to run up to four concurrent streams, have unlimited downloads, and set up as many as seven profiles.
