Canal Digital has announced the addition of Netflix to its OnePlace platform.
“We have promised our customers to gather the best and most relevant content in our offering. By adding Netflix to our other content, we are giving our customers access to even more series and films, in addition to all our other content”, said Tone Krohn Clausen, chief products and digital officer at Canal Digital.
Netflix’s director of business development EMEA, Rene Rummerl-Mergeryan said the streamer was “thrilled” to partner with Canal Digital.
“Since 4K and HDR are fully supported through Canal Digital, this means our award-winning content can be enjoyed in the best picture quality,” he said.
OnePlace is Canal Digital’s TV platform built on Android TV. It gives users access to Google’s universe of apps, games and services and has full 4K (UHD) and HDR support.
