Amazon has announced it is increasing the annual cost of a new subscription to its US Prime service by $20 from next month.
The annual cost will now be $119, up from $99.
The increase will take effect for existing Prime members, based on their renewal period, starting from 16th June.
Amazon increased the annual subscription to Prime by $20 – from $79 to $99 – in 2014.
TVBEurope has contacted Amazon to ask if there are any plans for similar price rises in the UK and Europe.
