Roger Flynn joins Cooke Optics board as non-executive director

Flynn most recently served as chairman of Masstech Innovations, and brings international broadcast and post-production experience to Cooke's board of directors

Cooke Optics has announced that industry veteran Roger Flynn has joined the business as a non-executive director to its board of directors. An investor and non-executive director in media, technology, and travel businesses, Flynn has held several executive media roles including CEO of BBC Ventures, commercial director of Virgin’s Media division, and president international of SDI Media Group.

Most recently, Flynn served as chairman of broadcast software company, Masstech Innovations.

“Roger’s background in international broadcast and post-production will add more dimension to the board, and will support our strategic plans for continued successful growth of the Cooke business,” said Kees Van Oostrum, non-executive chairman of Cooke Optics. “With Roger, we can more thoroughly support the industry across the entire spectrum from our market-leading lenses through to post production and VFX.”

Flynn added, “I am delighted to be joining Cooke, a business with an incredible heritage in the industry, and supporting Kees and the rest of the board as we continue to invest and grow Cooke.”
