The TV Nova installation follows a successful HD installation by TSL at ProTV in Romania; both channels are owned by Central European Media Enterprises (CME). TSL won the TV Nova HD contract following a tender process that was part of a structured programme of technology upgrades for the CME Group. The contract requirements detailed by TV Nova consist of a complete turnkey system that includes design, pre-build at TSL, onsite installation, training and commissioning.

The project designed by TSL will include an HD studio and a fully scalable HD server-based playout facility for an initial two channels. The new facility will include automation from Pebble Beach’s Neptune system, a Snell & Wilcox Kahuna production switcher and SeaChange Broadcast Media Library (BML) server.
