Matrox announces support for StudioCoast

Matrox Video now offers support for StudioCoast’s vMix video mixing software across the entire line of Matrox MXO2 capture devices and the Mojito MAX I/O card.

Matrox Video now offers support for StudioCoast’s vMix video mixing software across the entire line of Matrox MXO2 capture devices and the Mojito MAX I/O card. vMix is a live video production software solution that provides live mixing, switching and streaming of SD and HD (up to 1080p) video sources, including cameras, video files, DVDs and still images.

Matrox MXO2 devices are portable, so can be used for streaming live events. Users can connect an HD or SD camera or other video source and can use the live pass-through feature for external video monitoring. Matrox Mojito MAX provides the same functionality in a ¾-length PCIe card that can be integrated into a PC desktop or server.

“Matrox has a reputation for quality professional video solutions,” said Martin Sinclair, director and founder of StudioCoast. “We’re pleased to provide support for MXO2 devices and Mojito MAX to bring video sources into vMix at up to full HD.”

“vMix users are sure to find the exact digital and analogue video and audio connectivity they need in the versatile Matrox product line,” commented Wayne Andrews, product manager, Matrox Video. “And current Matrox users will be happy to be able to add another powerful and cost-effective live production steaming application to their toolkits.”
