Two new additions have been made to the management team at Harris Broadcast as Steve Foreman has been named president of global operations and services, and Jeff Liening senior vice president of global sales operations. The new management team’s vision and strategy will be presented at next month’s IBC in Amsterdam.
Foreman joins Harris Broadcast from Texas Pacific Group (TPG) where he was senior advisor for seven years. Prior to this he was an executive at Solectron for more than eight years before joining E2open as senior vice president of professional services and delivery.
“The combination of Harris Broadcast’s leadership team, market opportunity and competitive strengths creates a truly outstanding opportunity, and I am thrilled to join Charlie Vogt’s management team at this exciting time,” said Foreman. “I look forward to leveraging my strengths in operations and supply chain management to accelerate our plans.”
Liening joins Harris Broadcast from GENBAND, where he was most recently senior vice president of global sales operations. Prior to GENBAND, he held various sales management positions at Sycamore Networks, Lucent Technologies, Ascend Communications, and Cascade Communications.
“Harris Broadcast’s customer base is second to none and I am very pleased to join the company and support Charlie’s vision for strengthening the customer alignment and focus of our sales operations,” said Mr. Liening.
The appointments were overseen by Harris Broadcast CEO, Charlie Vogt (pictured), who commented: “We are uniquely positioned in the marketplace with more than 3000 customers worldwide, powerful patents and a leading solutions portfolio, while our new, independent ownership structure is fueling customer focus and an entrepreneurial culture. The investments we are making in our leadership team build on the company’s strong base to better serve our customers and the industry.”
