Harris appoints new head for global sales

Harris Broadcast has named Pablo Gargiulo (pictured), as president of Global Sales Organization, a newly-created body which spans 140 countries and 3000 customers.

Harris Broadcast has named Pablo Gargiulo (pictured), as president of Global Sales Organization, a newly-created body which spans 140 countries and 3000 customers. Separated into four regions – North America, Central/Latin America (CALA), Europe, EMEA and Asia – the organisationwill support the company’s market strategies of its four product groupings of Media, Networking, Playout and Transmissions.

Harris Broadcast has appointed sales executives to lead the four regions. Chris Ziemer will head North America, Nahuel Villegas will cover CALA, Mathias Eckert will lead EMEA and both Joe Khodeir and JiShun Mei will head up the Asia region. With these appointments, Harris hopes to offer customers more comprehensive sales leadership and operations for each area.

Gargiulo will report directly to Charlie Vogt, CEO of Harris Broadcast. “Pablo is a tested and proven leader who has supported dynamic industry transformation in parallel industries and brings unique capabilities in empowering and integrating global sales forces acquired through multiple acquisitions,” said Mr. Vogt.

Gargiulo has a background of international sales and organisational leadership, having led global sales organisations, supply chain, customer support, professional services and marketing over the past 25 years across the telecom, MSO and technology sectors.
