CJP brings motion capture rental to UK market

The company is the first in the UK to provide authorised rental of the Xsens MVN Link motion capture suit and Animate Live licence

CJP Broadcast has launched a rental service for motion capture technology.

The new rental programme will make the Xsens MVN Link motion capture suit and Animate Live licence available on the UK rental market, aiming to provide access to the technology on a flexible hire basis.

CJP becomes the first authorised company in the UK to offer the service, providing support for applications such as character animation, virtual production and immersive media. Designed for use in studios, on location or within virtual sets, the system enables full-body motion capture without markers or optical cameras.

Kieran Phillips, director of sales and marketing at CJP Broadcast, commented, “Motion capture is increasingly important in productions for broadcast, film, education, and corporate. It enables more natural and dynamic animation, helps streamline virtual production workflows, and allows creative teams to achieve results that would otherwise be costly or complex to generate. This rental programme gives teams the opportunity to explore these creative and practical benefits of Xsens technology without upfront investment.”

With this launch, CJP expands its portfolio of advanced broadcast and virtual production solutions, said the company, reinforcing its commitment to providing clients with access to the latest production technologies.
