The solution integrates Skreens Technology’s content compositing technology with MediaKind’s MK.IO streaming platform. The collaboration enables broadcasters, operators, OTT service providers and content owners to provide multiple video feeds simultaneously, enhancing viewer personalisation across any device, said the companies.

The scalable solution meets the evolving needs of the media landscape, said the company. Key features of MediaKind’s Multiview include: viewer personalisation, with audiences able to switch between camera angles and feeds as well as choosing audio; cross-platform support from smart TVs to mobile phones and a pay-as-you-go model, enabling users to control costs.
By leveraging, Skreen’s server-side compositing, Multiview is delivered as a single stream, with no additional infrastructure required.
Cory Zachman, SVP engineering at MediaKind, commented, “With the new Multiview solution, MediaKind is taking live event viewing to the next level. By integrating Skreens’ technology, we’re enabling broadcasters, operators and OTT providers to offer more dynamic, customisable content experiences to their audiences—unlocking new levels of engagement and interaction.”
