Virgin Media O2 has added Sky Sports Ultra HD channels to its line-up for existing customers.
The available channels include Sky Sports Main Event Ultra HD and Sky Sports Ultra HD 1.
The UHD sports channels add to Virgin TV’s other Ultra HD content from Sky, with Sky Cinema and Entertainment Ultra HD VOD already available to customers.
David Bouchier, chief TV and entertainment officer at Virgin Media O2, said: “For years, Virgin TV has offered access to all of the best live sport in one place and at great value, and now we’re offering it in the best picture quality available.
“With Sky Sports Ultra HD now available on our platform, fans of the Premier League, Formula 1 and a host of other top sports will be able to get even closer to the action.”
