Zinc Media has completed the acquisition of corporate video production company Straker Films.

Straker produces films with the intention of combining creativity with clear messaging, with particular focus on drama for education and health and safety, short form internet adverts and information films.

Nick Straker, Straker Films founder, said, “I am delighted that Straker Films is entering the next phase of its growth in conjunction with Zinc Media.

“Straker Films has had a long working relationship with Zinc Media and we see the opportunity to become a player of much larger scale in the high growth corporate story telling market.”

Mark Wood (pictured), CEO of Zinc Media, added, “The acquisition of Straker Films gives Zinc Media a significant and credible footprint in the corporate video and story telling market and we look forward to developing our business in this high growth market.”

Zinc Media, which was founded as Ten Alps by Bob Geldof in 1999, announced a rebrand in March.
