TVPlayer Plus is now available on Amazon Fire TV.

The pay-TV streaming service, which was launched in October last year, takes the total number of channels available on Fire TV to 75.

Fire TV, which is available via monthly subscription at a price of £4.99 per month, now offers 19 premium channels, including Lifetime, National Geographic, Boomerang, Discovery and Eurosport.

“TVPlayer is one of Amazon Fire TV’s most popular entertainment apps,” said Lewis Arthur, operations director at TVPlayer.

“It has proved to be extremely popular with Fire TV customers since it launched in the UK and has received a further boom in the number of users since the launch of Fire TV Stick and pre-Christmas.

“We are extremely excited about the launch of TVPlayer Plus on Amazon Fire TV, which offers a broad range of premium content for such an affordable price to Amazon Fire TV users.”

Amazon Fire TV has become Amazon’s top-selling device family, whilst the Fire TV Stick is now the fastest-selling Amazon device in its history.
