TVBEurope March issue out now

Our third magazine of the year celebrates women in broadcasting

The March issue of TVBEurope is now available. This month, we celebrate women in broadcasting.

K7 Media’s Clare Thompson kicks off our Opinion and Analysis section with a look back at the past 12 months for women in the broadcast sector.

As part of our NAB preview, Gay Bell, Platform Communications founder and CEO, looks ahead to her 19th visit to the show.

Our headline feature sees Jenny Priestley investigate the production of breakfast television at ITV’s Good Morning Britain, while we garner five industry exec’s plans and expectations for BVE 2018.

Elsewhere, George Jarrett meets Cinegy owner and managing director Daniella Weigner, while UKTV’s Sinead Greenaway reflects on her past, present and future plans for the major UK broadcaster.

In our Production and Post section, Philip Stevens investigates the production of Supreme Court coverage, and James Groves speaks to Jaunt VR’s Dominic Collins about the company’s impact on the immersive content industry.

Our Technology section sees Jenny Priestley sit down with TeenTech co-founder and CEO Maggie Philbin and Emotion Systems director of engineering Chandni Patel. Patel talks about finding her way in a man’s world, while Philbin explains what her company is doing to help people understand the opportunities and skills needed by contemporary industry.

As always, we end on our Data Centre section, picking out the highlights from Ofcom’s Diversity and equal opportunities in television report.

For all this and more, check out TVBEurope March.
