Ronny van Geel announced as new VP, cameras at Grass Valley

In a career spanning 25 years, van Geel has most recently served as Grass Valley's director of product marketing

Grass Valley has announced the appointment of Ronny van Geel as its new vice president, cameras.

Spanning more than 25 years in the industry, van Geel’s career began at Philips DVS in 1999, and has included roles in camera technology, product strategy and media workflows. Most recently, he has served as Grass Valley’s director of product marketing, working across the company’s strategy and portfolio. He has helped shape the Grass Valley story, said the company, across unified media operations and new themes such as DMF.

Commenting on his new position, van Geel said, “I’m excited to bring a broader perspective back into a field I care about deeply. There is an extraordinary depth of knowledge, craftsmanship and passion in the camera team, built over many years and in close partnership with customers, operators and partners around the world. I’m looking forward to working with those teams to help people realise their creative intent and tell more captivating stories in new ways.”
