TalkTV has announced the appointment of James Haggar as the broadcaster’s new head of studio output.
He has previously held roles with a number of broadcasters including Sky, ITV and CNBC.
According to the broadcaster, Haggar will play a key role in the next stage of the channel’s development as it enters “an exciting new phase in TalkTV’s evolution”.
Speaking about his role, Haggar said: “I am delighted to be joining TalkTV at such an exciting time in the channel’s evolution. The station has amazing new studio facilities at The News Building and I’m looking forward to heading up such an incredibly talented studio team.”
Richard Wallace, head of TV at News UK, added: “James is a key talent in the broadcast industry, so to have him on board leading our studio teams marks a significant milestone in TalkTV’s ongoing development.”
