Former BT Sport COO Jamie Hindhaugh joins EMG / Gravity Media

Charlie Cubbon has also been appointed chief operating officer

EMG / Gravity Media has announced two new appointments with Charlie Cubbon becoming chief operating officer (COO) and Jamie Hindhaugh taking on the role of regional CEO for the UK, USA, Australia and Middle East.

The recently formed EMG / Gravity Media partnership, which provides broadcast, technology, production and post production services and solutions for users around the world, said the new arrivals align with plans to further grow the company.

Cubbon assumes the COO role following a career at Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD), during which he held positions including VP – head of finance and supply chain, VP – head of commercial development, UK and Ireland, and most recently VP – head of strategic planning and operations, UK and Ireland.

Speaking about his appointment, he said: “I am honoured to join EMG / Gravity Media at such a pivotal moment. Incoming regional CEO, Hindhaugh, has previously held roles at BT Sport and the BBC, and joins the company from Warner Bros Discovery, where he is VP of content and host broadcast.

The company said it extended its gratitude to outgoing interim regional CEO, Peter Bates, praising his leadership during the transition period.
