Ooyala has signed Ligue de Football Professionnel (LFP) to the Ooyala Flex Media Platform.
The configurable content supply chain optimisation platform allows the French football body to manage metadata and video assets for its new direct-to-consumer OTT service.
Jonathan Huberman, Ooyala CEO, said: “This new relationship is an exciting addition to Ooyala’s presence in France and our dramatic growth throughout Europe. LFP’s ambitions to distribute their video content not only throughout France, but also globally, required an entirely new platform and the right partners to supplement their own staff.
“LFP is playing on a new level, and they’ll need the flexibility and functionality of the Ooyala Flex Media Platform to get their content on every device, platform and in every language to reach their growing legion of fans worldwide.”
Olivier Imbert, LFP CIO, added: “To launch our new video service, we needed a solution that could not only handle our needs today, but grow with us into the future. The Ooyala Flex Media platform can do just that. It integrates seamlessly with our existing technology and systems, and is highly scalable to address new and more complex workflows as our service expands to reach new viewers across the world.”
