NAB Show reports strong sales for 2021, major companies already confirmed

Show organisers says more than 540 companies have already committed to exhibiting.

NAB has reported it is seeing strong early sales for its 2021 show, due to be held in October for the first time.

The October move for NAB Show 2021 was announced earlier this year, meaning it takes place just a month after IBC 2021.

According to the organisers companies that have made early commitments to exhibit at NAB Show represent more than 31 nations, including China, Germany, India, Israel and Uruguay.

It has already confirmed more than 540 companies will be exhibiting at the show, including Amazon Web Services; Blackmagic Design; Dolby Laboratories; Grass Valley; Panasonic; Rohde & Schwarz and Pixel Power; Ross Video; Sony Electronics, Inc.; Telestream; Verizon Media; and Vizrt. Initial applications account for nearly 330,000 square feet of exhibit space, said NAB.

“Research indicates that our partners, attendees and audience are eager to return to major in-person shows, and we are encouraged by the industry’s early engagement,” said Eric Trabb, NAB’s senior vice president of Business Development. “Despite the uncertain environment, the initial demand has exceeded our expectations and points to an exciting return for NAB Show.”

NAB Show 2021 will take place October 9–13, 2021 in Las Vegas.
