German broadcast manufacturer Lawo has opened a UK subsidiary and appointed systems engineer Kadhim Boyd, solution architect James Walker and sales managers Olivier Hough and Devin Workman.
Their combined expertise is expected to enable delivery of complex, solution-orientated projects.
Lawo director of sales and operations UK&I Craig Newbury, who heads up the new team, said: “Lawo is investing heavily in the UK as part of a drive to keep up with increasing activity and opportunity in the area of IP processing and distribution, and management of IP-based media workflows.”
Boyd previously served as senior engineer, technical sales manager and principal systems engineer at Snell, while Walker worked as head of system architecture and delivery for live production and infrastructure at Grass Valley.
Hough comes from a strategic sales management background at Vitec Production Solutions, and Workman arrives from HHB
Communications/Scrub where he specialised in the supply and support of Avid Pro Tools.
