KOBA 2010 gears up

The 20th edition of the leading annual Korean broadcast, audio and lighting equipment show will commence on June 15th and run for four days.

More than 700 exhibitors from 35 countries, including 130 companies from Korea, will be gathered together to optimise business success in 17,649sqm of exhibition space even in the middle of the current global recession.

During KOBA 2010, more than 40,000 domestic visitors and 1000 international buyers are expected to visit and generate expected sales of 15 billion Korean Won of domestic sales and $7bn of international sales consultation.

KOBA’s main role has been as a bridge between the Korean and global markets and varieties of exhibits showing in KOBA include professional audio, editing and production equipment, recording and networking equipment, relay systems, transmission systems, camera facilities. conversion equipment, lighting equipment and many others. In addition to this, the latest Korean newcomers in leading IT technologies will be at the show to prove their competitiveness on a global stage.

KOBA’s conference sessions, meanwhile, give the opportunity for KOBA visitors to sample high level perspectives and insights on emerging trends. These targeted and specified conference sessions offer an in-depth learning opportunity to get informed and there will be more than 100 sessions held during the duration of the show. New exhibition areas will highlight the emergence of new markets through inter-industry affiliations such as Home Networking, T-Commerce, e-Learning, Security and tailored TV Portal.
