Input Media extends French Open rights

Input Media has extended its contract to produce the world feed, daily highlights and digital content for the French Open tennis tournament.

Input Media has extended its contract to produce the world feed, daily highlights and digital content for the French Open tennis tournament.

The sports production company has secured a deal to continue producing content for the French Tennis Federation (FFT) for a further two years, through to 2018, extending the role it began in 2008.

The London-based firm currently produces over 250 hours of content via two world feeds from Roland Garros, as well as daily highlight programmes, player interviews and features.

The company also produces content for the big screens around the tournament site in Paris, and provides technical assistance to the event’s organisers.

“We are thrilled to have once again been awarded this prestigious work,” said Input Media managing director Neil Oughton.

“The French Open is one of the great annual sporting events and we are proud and privileged to continue our involvement providing experience, innovation, reliability and quality.”

The French Open will run from 22 May to 5 June.
